Join the Alchemist Society’s Meredith Rebar Williams at a Culture Factory for an exploration into all things apple! Cider is having a moment in the spotlight and we want to celebrate that. Sample some of the best local ciders the area has to offer such as Kurant, Big Hill, Frecon Farm and Ploughman Cider while learning how to make your own at home. While cider doesn’t taste like beer, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when it comes to fermentation.
As a special treat enjoy cider and cheese pairings to see how this fruit-based beverage works beautifully with food pairings. Baba’s Brew will be sampling some apple kombucha to round out the experience.
