Learn how to make your very own cultured cashew cream cheese, using only 3 ingredients! In this hands on workshop you will learn about the benefits of fermented foods, why they are important for our health, and how to create your very own fermented dairy-free cream cheese using cashews!
Each person will make their very own jar of original cashew cream cheese to take home, and will take home a mini jar of mix-ins to add once your cheese is done fermenting. Your choice of flavors will be Original, Veggie or Hot Pepper. Once we are done making the cream cheese, we will taste test all three flavors on toasted bagels, topped with your choice of capers, red onion, cucumber or carrot lox. Pair with your favorite Baba’s Bucha on tap!
THE ROLE OF FERMENTATION
Fermented foods have the ability to supercharge the immune response, increase nutrient absorption, protect the stomach from pathogenic microbes, normalize the digestive system and enable the digestive system to more rapidly remove toxins from food.
