Join us with Grace Good for two hooping workshops.
1. Circus Style Single Hoop 5pm – 6pm.
You only need one hoop to be a sassy circus diva! This workshop we will be learning single hoop tricks and techniques that can add a ‘circus style’ to your flow. Perfect for hoop performers, aspiring performers, or anyone who just wants to add some flare to your hoop flow. The workshop will include:
– Exciting new ways to pick your hoop up from the ground
– Combos with speedy hand spins and crazy tosses
– Body positioning & control
– Techniques for fast hooping
– Performance techniques and secrets.
2. Intro to Multi-Hooping 6pm – 7:30pm
This Intro to Multi-Hooping workshop is ideal for the intermediate level hooper with zero or little experience with multiple hoops. MUST have experience with a single hoop and be able to hoop comfortably on waist, chest, knees, and arms. Students will learn how to control and manipulate multiple hoops on different parts of the body while working with 2-3 hoops. This workshop includes:
– Posture for multi hooping
– Two hoops on body and off body
– Three hoops on body and off body
– Fun shapes with three hoops
About the Instructor
Grace is a professional circus artist based in Nashville, Tennessee with over 5 years of circus experience. Grace teaches class in Nashville and workshops across the USA. A Nashville native, she began hooping in 2011, and has since taken the hooping world by storm with her elegant hoop dance techniques. She captivates and inspires audiences with and effortless control of multiple fire hoops, as well as her mesmerizing aerial performances. Voted Fire Hooper of the year on Hooping.org in 2015 and 2017, and co-owner of Beyond Wings cirque company, Grace’s reputation for funky, flirty, and technical hoop manipulation is growing with her technical ability.
