This hands-on class begins with learning the basics of the herbs and spices typically found in a Thai kitchen. Once we’re more familiar with the ingredients we’ll be working with, we’ll explore a few classic Thai recipes known for their dynamic flavor profiles of sweet, umami, salty, sour and spicy.

 

We will brush up on some basic knife skills before moving on to our authentic Thai dishes. We’ll make Vegetarian Summer Rolls paired with a Spicy Peanut Sauce, dive into the depths of flavors in a Tom Yum soup, and prepare a Pad Thai sauce from scratch! You will have the option to choose chicken or tofu as your protein. You will also learn how to source fresh, seasonal ingredients and special spices in order to recreate these authentic Thai dishes at home.
